First 6 Stories of Gods

My group read the Olympic Story, and the stories of Giants, teh Sphynx, The Centaurs, The Pygmies, and the Griffin. These have in common that to read them, you would probably need to know more about Mythology to understand better these stories, because it has many names that I don't understand. I also got confused because of many events and wars that I am not aware of and make it harder to understand. Also it has a hard language that some I didn't understand. Some of them have in common that they all have a hero in their story. I guess that It part of the Mythology concept that there has to be a Hero in every story, but not always it will be the same one. The explanation of the myhts is very much similar. THey explain what it is, like a monster, a human, a giant, wahtever, tehn how he looks, and how powerful he is. They make it very clear that these are tough things that you're messing with. Then they might explain a brief story or encounter of this character, like a war, an encounter with another beats, etc. Then if they won or not. Also I noticed that they use very starge letters, like an A and an E together, and an A and an O together. This makes it difficult to say out loud. Also, if a 10 year old would read it, I think he could realize that it is myth, that it might have some real facts in it, but not totaly true. It doesn't take much to recognize that it is unreal what they are saying.
