A Boy Named Jesus

This is the story of a boy, named Jesus. Here are some events of his life, in a quick review. The first I will talk about, is his birth. He was born as a miracle. There is an angel, called Gabriel. He was sent to the virgin Mary by the word of God. He went to Mary and told her she would give birth to a son of God. She was told to name him Jesus, and that he would  die to save humanity. Mary and Joseph, her husband, travel to Bethlehem, and there they have their son, Jesus. Jesus claims to be the son of God, and that the Church is his father's house. I believe, though, that Jesus' genealogy goes back to Adam, as I showed in my Gospel. Adam's father is God, so I believe Jesus is as well a son of God.

Satan has always been the enemy of God, and when he knows that God had a son, he had to destroy him. He sends Jesus to the wilderness for forty days, and in those times he does eat nothing, but then he gets out. When he gets out, the devil finds him and tells him to prove that he is the son of God, by turning a stone into bread, and he answers it is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. Obviously, Satan is irritated, and takes Jesus to a mountaintop. He shows in a moment all the kingdoms of the world, and tells Jesus, all these I can give to you, only if you worship me, and me only. Jesus answers by saying get thee behind me Satan, for it is written Thou shall worship the Lord they God, and him only shall thou serve. Then Satan tries to temp him again, but he cannot, for Jesus is the Son of God, and worships God only.

Jesus then goes to wonder around, searching for followers, doing miracles, preaching. It is there where he does the so called draught of fishes, where he tells a fisherman (which later become his first apostles) to send the net to the water, and the catch so much fish that the boat started to sink of how heavy it was! Simon Peter, James and John then become his first apostles. These are later joined by nine apostles and they became Jesus' twelve apostles.

It is by these times that Jesus starts to have enemies, The Pharisees. They doubt him be the son of God,and believe the only one who can forgive sinners is God, but despite this opposition, he gathers crowds and crowds to preach and share the word of God. Then, it came to pass that he was called by a centurion, because his loyal servant was sick and ready to die, and Jesus goes to him in Capernaum and helps him. He as well revives the son of a widow. John the baptist sends messengers (he was in Jail) to Jesus to ask him who he was, and Jesus answers only by saying all the miracles he had performed.

He continues his travels, and then tells his apostles that he foresees he will be crucified and resurrected. Then he starts traveling towards Jerusalem. In his way, he is interrupted by some events, and on his way there, he teaches his apostles how to pray correctly, and tells them that any sincere request, will be granted by God. The pharisees attack Jesus, and he responds by accusing them of Hypocrisy. He finally makes his way through to Jerusalem, giving parables in the way that all mean have faith in God.

When he finally gets to Jerusalem, he foresees the destruction of the city for not accepting him. He preaches to the common people and quickly wins their faith, but he as well wins many enemies. He says the jewish leaders don't know the real meaning of God, preaches of the Apocalypse and the End Of Days, and predicts he will be betrayed by one apostle and denied by another. Then he celebrates the Seder Meal, when he gives wine as the symbol of his blood, and bread as the symbol of his body (Eucharist). Then his prophecy comes true when Judas betrays him, and Peter denies knowing Jesus. Jesus is crucified and is buried by one of his disciples. Then, three days later, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb. She saw nothing there, no body, nothing, and told the apostles about what she saw. Peter went, and saw nothing as well, and then Jesus appeared to them, and said his last words, asking them to spread his word. Amen.
