The Bible VS Analect

As a final conclusion, I decided to compare the Bible and Analects. There are similarities but as well there are differences. The bible is strange in a sense that God, by his messengers, tells us how to live and what is good and what we should never do. In Analects, the Master (Confucious) tells us how we should live, but in a different way. He says there is a "Way" and everybody should find their own "Way" and follow it and always be a gentleman. God says that if you do not do what he says, or do what he says not to do, then you shall get punished, and as we can see in the Bible, God's punishments can be mercyless. Confucious tries to teach us something, but he gives the option of not following him and being bad, but God imposes us to do what he says, otherwise, he can create plagues, he can kill, he can destroy. If we were watching these two in the sense of a political leader trying to find ways to make the country a better place, I would follow the Bible, because there are punishments as there are rewards, but if one was looking for something to follow personally, then I would choose the Analects, mainly because they teach you how to live properly being a gentleman and have no punishments for doing something Confucious said not to do.
