The Bible and its Strange Stories

Even though I have blogged about this a couple times before, I still want to make my point in that the bible has some things that don't make sense. For example, on Exodus 3 verse 2 and 3, "And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt." God appears on a bush as an image of fire, and the bush never burns down;it just constantly keeps burning. That for sure makes a lot of sense.  Also, in Exodus 4 verse 2-4, "And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.
3: And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.
4: And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand" This is also very believable, because everyday we see how rods turn into snakes, and then back to rods with the touch of a human.

Also, I wanted to prove something else. On class the other day, we had a discussion if "GOD" and Jehovah were the same person. In Exodus 6 verse 3, "And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them" the discussion was because some people believed that these two were different, one being the "Lord God" and the other one just "God". Here, God himself is speaking, and he states clearly that they are one person, the one and only. This proves that, said by God Himself, they are the same person.
