A Greek punishment for men...a Woman...

I just read the story of creation that the Greeks have written in their myths. It is that Earth used to be nothing. Dead mass, land was not solid, air was not transparent, and water was not fluid. Then came a god (not named), and he takes the time to arrange the earth. He makes the fishes in the water, he makes the birds in the skies, he makes the four legged animals in the land. Then something was needed, a more noble animal, and here man was created. Then Epimetheus, and his brother Prometheus were put in charge of making the animals. They gave some of them claws, some other wings, and some others hard shells. Also, they gave them strength, courage, and many other good traits. Then came the problem. They had already given out every trait to the animals, and there was none left for the humans, So Prometheus gives them fire. This gave them a great advantage over the rest of the animals, because with this they could make weapons, they could make food, and many other things. Then, for stealing fire from heaven, man was punished by having a woman. It was Pandora. She opened a jar with all the bad things of humans that Prometheus hadn0t given to humans, and all escaped, except hope. Then came many ages, some better than others. Then came an age in which terror was abundant, crimes, and weapons were invented. Humans started to extermine animals, and then to extermine themselves, until nobody was alive. So the gods meet in council and remake the earth. I think that this is an interesting story, and it made me think a lot that nowadays, many cultures are patriarch. The women are mostly treated lower, they can't have education or jobs. If you noticed, in the myth the punishment was a woman, and this may have much to do with present-day machism.
