There were a few phrases that did call my attention, though. In Book Seven, verse 7:12, the Master said "If wealth were something worth pursuing, then I would pursue it, even if that meant serving as an officer holding a whip at the entrance to the marketplace. Since it is not worth pursuing, however, I prefer to follow that which I love." This really stuck in my head because there are some poeple that seriously need to read that phrase. There are multinational companies that mistreat their workers, give them the lowest wages, give them the worst working conditions, and they don't even care. All they want is them to produce. There are studies that say that for Nike to produce a shoe, it costs $15.00, and they sell it for $120.00. This 15 include there the wage of the worker! In U.S., a worker gets like $8 per hour, and in countries like India, China, those poor African countries, the workers get $3 pero day! This is really alarming and people should take notice of it and do something about it.
In Book Seven, Verse 7:22, the Master said, "When walking with two other people, I will always find a teacher among them. I focus on those who are good and seek to emulate them, and focus on those who are bad in order to be reminded of what needs to be changed in myself." This is a very powerful phrase, and I say this because there are many people who don't understand it. You should always seek to emulate the good, rather than see what is good and do the opposite, as our well known Guerrilas do. The people see all the bad things done there, and some even enjoy doing them. They do have many options of liberation, like the "Plan desmovilización", but most stay in there, emulating the bad and looking for the good to be able to not do it.
